Here are some other useful sites for Church musicians. Let me know if you think another site should be here.

CCLI (Christian Copyright Licensing International)
These good people represent composers, authors and publishers by licensing churches to copy their copyrighted music and lyrics for church activities. They then pass on the licence revenue to the composers, authors and publishers.

SongSelect
CCLI recently created SongSelect , an online library of church songs. Churches pay an annual fee to access the library, from which they can download leadsheets (melody/chord arrangements) and lyrics to use in church. The Lead sheets are transposable, you can listen to MP3 clips of the songs, and composers are automatically credited to receive royalties when you download their songs!

EMU Music
This group publish songs and CDs for church use. Two of Philip Swan 's songs from For the Cross were re-released on the EMU album Every Promise . They also run an annual weekend conference of teaching and workshops for contemporary church musicians called TWIST .

Garage Hymnal
These people want a more contemporary youthy sound for contemporary conservatives. Philip Swan 's song By the Cross was fabulously re-produced on the first Garage Hymnal CD.

Moore Books
Moore Books offer a comprehensive selection of good Christian books and resources at 21 King St , Newtown , Sydney (ph 02 9577 9966) and online.

Katoomba Christian Convention
For churches who have no musicians, the KCC's convention recordings are perfect. The songs are recorded as sung at the conventions so there are no instrumental solos or confusing vocal cadenzas. The 2500-strong congregation make your small church sound great, and you feel like you're singing in a crowd, not like the only person in your row. If you can't find it on the website, email them and ask about the MKC 2006 Music CD.
